Luxurious 1960’s compact from Paris cosmetics house Lucien Lelong. Lustrous champagne-hue gold plated body stamped "14k gold plated" with large saturated rhinestones on top (in blue/turquoise and peach/pink). The inside finish is bright and shiny, and includes the original puff of the powder; All latches and hinges work perfectly. Bottom of compact has light wear/scratching consistent with any vintage piece - see photos. This priceless box is a rare find by this maker. It could be used for a special gift, ring box or vanity display.
