Extech RHT10 Humidity and Temperature USB Datalogger Details

Please Note:

To use this datalogger it must be first configured on PC using Extech's included software. To do so, plug the USB into the PC, choose your sampling time and alarm thresholds and remove from the PC. To stop recording, insert again into the PC and download your testing information.

This logger cannot be activated without insertion into a PC USB port.

The Extech RHT10 is a simple USB datalogging device that can be left in an area to constantly evaluate humidity and temperature over a time period. It's an ideal product for use in absolutely any area where measuring these two parameters is important; applications include warehouses, storage rooms, freezers, shipping vans and water damage restoration.

To use the RHT10 all it requires is choosing a sampling rate (users can choose between 2s, 5s, 10s, 30s, 1m, 5m, 10m, 30m, 1hr, 2hr, 3hr, 6hr, 12hr and 24hr) and then leaving the device either mounted to a wall or simply left on a desk, shelf or wherever else you need to test. It is also possible for the user to program alarm thresholds for RH and temperature so that detected spikes/drops in either parameter are clearly indicated by LED lights on the side of the unit.

The RHT10 is also suitable for use in both extremely hold and hotter applications due to its ability to measure tempearature from -40 to 158°F (-40 to 70°C), It can also measure humidity levels across the full range from 0 to 100% RH.

Since this device is a datalogger, it captures data and automatically stores it on the device. It is possible to store a total of 16000 temperature records on the device and 16000 humidity readings can also be stored. The USB nature of the RHT10 also means downloading to PC is easy, and the included software package allows interaction with captured testing data.

The battery life of the RHT10 will last for around one year, making this product ideal for continuous testing.
