Acupuncture-knife comes from acupuncture. Same as thepopular acupuncture , the Acupuncture-knife also comes from the 9-needlessection, and through constant improvements by experts in the past 30 years, ithas been named as Acupuncture-knife and known as a better and more efficientclinical treatment. It is a kind of acupuncture with blade of 0.3—1.0 mm, andchosen for different situations.

Different from barring and rotating inside subcutaneoustissue, acupuncture-knife is mainly used to cut in. Generally, final pathologychange caused by chronic soft tissue injuries would mostly be adhesion andcontracture, thus acupuncture-knife would be effective by cutting to relax.Meanwhile, since the major dynamic reason for chronic soft tissue injuries wouldusually be imbalance, resulting in muscle tension and dislocation of joints andbones, acupuncture-knife can be used to adjust for final heal.

* 5. Pain in the treatment of Acupuncture-knife

Generally, most patients can well stand the paineven the thickest acupuncture-knife is chosen for treatment. Unless the chosenpoint is sensitive like knees, hand and foot, anesthetics is not demanding. Inthis way, side effects of anesthetics could be well avoided while the patient’sreaction could be observed and enquired, and most of all, body immune systemwould be motivated to better solve the pain problem.

Mostly, the Acupuncture treatment procedure would be thefollowing.

   1)  Diagnosing: Our treatment may bedifferent from common ways. Take Tennis Elbow, we may choose cervical vertebrafor treatment, and this is on the basis of our theory, which is of no doubts.

2) Point choosing and treatment.

a.Generally, not more than 10 points would be chosenexcept for special cases.

b.Anesthetics method as mentioned above,

c.Treatment for each point would be 2-3 seconds tofulfill, and the complete treatment would be about a few minutes.

3) Manual restoration:

Manual restoration is necessary after Acupuncture-knifetreatment, and a good way of improve treatment efficiency. It’s speciallyimportant for spine treatment. Our manual restoration is specially designed andis different from common massaging. Since the inner soft tissue has alreadybeen relaxed through acupuncture-knife, we don’t need traditional complicatedmassage to relax any more, and all we need is just to correct the dislocationof the small joints. This manual restoration is more targeted and efficient.

  1） Dizziness. Occasionally occurs aftertreatment, and would disappear in about 30minutes. This is mostly due toanesthetic, and need not worry about.

2） Halo-pin. Asmall \number of patient would suffer halo-pin when feeling nervous, frightened,starved and exhausted. These patients would also suffer for other kinds oftreatment such as common acupuncture or even intramuscular injection. Water andglucose complement would soon ease within 10 minutes. It is repeated thatpatients can not have the treatment under such circumstances.

3）Feeling pain.Usually occurs 1-3 days after treatment. Most of the patients can well stand,and the pain would vanish 3 days later.

4) Local swelling. Mostly, the swelling would not beso obvious at body end such as hand, foot or thin muscle part such as outerpart of elbow. Fomentation is recommended after treatment and the swellingwould vanish in 2-3 days.

5) Primary symptoms becoming more severe. Few patientswould come across the situation. Mostly it is just because of the imbalanceof  the disease after treatment, and recovering to normal statues, whichmakes the patients don’t fit. Continuous treatment would stop it.       

The abovementioned reaction are normal and would not form permanent injuries to patients.

 

* 8. Treatment cycle.

Three to five times accounts one treatment cycle, andclinic efficiency would achieve to improve most symptoms. No moreacupuncture-knife or other treatment is necessary. Exercises are helpful foreffect consolidation and recurrence prevention.  

Generally, onetreatment cycle would be effective. Severe cases like strong straightspondylitis and femur necrosis need 2-3 treatment cycles or evenmore.   Each treatment would interval about 7 days, during whichphysiotherapy and acupuncture assists the treatment. For the few patients whohave severe reactions, the interval can last to 2 weeks or even longer.
