Add a touch of vintage charm to your home decor with this exquisite Victorian French Barbola Rose Wooden Cameo Style Plaque Picture Frame Set. The delicate rose pattern beautifully complements the white wooden frame, making it a perfect addition to any room. The unique style of this frame set is sure to make your pictures stand out and add a touch of elegance to your space.

This is a pair of Vintage oval Cameo style picture frames with portraits of two beautiful Renaissance women. Made of carved wood material with a ivory finish. A burgundy velvet surrounds the miniature portraits, with oval, gold colored frames around the portraits. They measures 4 3/4 x 6 1/2 inches. There is a screw hole at the top point of the frame with a screw already in there, ready to mount to the wall!

The portraits are of Mrs. Chaplin by George Romney and Mme. Lambert de Morigney by Nicholas Largelliere.

Although they are not marked, these are known as Cameo Creations. (Normally they are marked with a sticker on the back, though the sticker has worn off or has been removed) From what I've read, the Cameo Creations company started sometime in the late 40's or early 50's, and were manufactured to provide upscale wall decorations. The frames are very baroque looking and the protraits are really beautiful.

These are in excellent condition! Most likely from the 1950's though the portraits date back to the 18th century.
