This dazzling cotton 1840's "double triangles" quilt top is all precisely hand pieced, with a very early double pink print. The pattern is also known as "old maid's ramble."
It measures 70" X 74" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear. The fabrics feel strong and sturdy overall.
The pics just don't do justice to this VERY EARLY 19th century COLLECTOR'S PIECE -- it's even more impressive in real life!
