This vintage Conn "Director" trombone, model 14H (I think) serial # C(?)48321, is a great find for anyone looking for a project.
While it may need some repair work done, specifically soldering, it's slides function smoothly.
It shows some scratches and a few tiny dents as well as having some areas where the lacquer finish is worn off from use.
I believe it is playable once the soldering is repaired.
It has the potential to be a beautiful and functional instrument once again.
This trombone is great for a beginner student.
Included is a CONN 3 mouthpiece and a hard case that is a bit torn around the edges and shows some wear but it is clean inside.
It's hinges and latches function properly and the handle is made of hard plastic.
I think the only thing missing is the lyre attachable music holder.
This one deserves some TLC and a good home!
