Vintage 1960s 70s Formal Bridesmaid Dress Pink Retro Small Pink w/Lace Overlay

Amazing, handmade bridesmaid evening star formal long sleeveless dress. In very good condition. Probably could use a good cleaning.

Three layers: top layer is a cream colored

Floral designed lace, middle layers is a soft, buttery pink that I feel is a tafeta type fabric, bottom lining layer is a satiny type lining.

Dress is straight, sheath style with a high waist accented with a hot pink ribbon and bow. Bodice has sewn in darts …I tried to take photos of measurements around the breast area so that You could get an idea of the size. There are no maker, size, or fabric content tags, which makes me feel it is handmade. 15” metal zipper in the back with metal hook loop closure at the top. Lace fabric is larger than the actual dress, giving it a super mod, retro, vintage feel. The craftsmanship on this dress is A++.

My mannequin is a size medium/large, and I could not get this dress to fit on it. Size is small in my opinion.

This is a beautiful dress, reminding me of my grandmother’s Eastern Star days in Texas where they would dress to the nines any chance they could get.
