20th President of the United States JAMES A. GARFIELD excellent undated autographed cut signature removed from a letter. The "Very Truly Yours" inscription is in the hand of a secretary. The autograph below the inscription is in the hand of Garfield. Garfield signed in his typical style as "J. a. Garfield".
