A fantastic pair of English sterling silver miniature trophies with black ebonized wood stands. Each measures 3 inches high by 1.5 inches wide. When on stands the total height is 4 inches. Each is hallmarked for London 1928 with makers mark for Robert Pringle & Sons. The weight of silver content for each is approximately 19 grams or just under 40 grams total not including stands.

The engraving reads "B & D.M.C. Firth Cup Trial 1928 Won By J.C. Dearden". The other one has a similar engraving but is titled "Roberts" Cup Trial. Each has a nice graduated style stem. It's very hard to find a matched pair of these miniature sizes.

Good condition, a few minor dimples and light surface wear. One of the wooden bases has some paint losses. These are great presentation pieces for a table, desk or shelf.
