SPEIDEL - Speidel is a watch bracelet company that has a long and rich history. The company was founded in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1904 by Fredrick Speidel, and originally produced watch chains and jewelry.

In the 1920s, Speidel started to focus on watchbands, and by the 1950s, the company had become the largest watchband manufacturer in the world. Speidel's products were known for their high quality and innovation, and the company was responsible for introducing several new styles and materials to the watchband industry, including expansion bands and twist-o-flex bands.

In the 1960s, Speidel began to expand into other areas of the jewelry market, including men's and women's accessories, and the company continued to innovate with new materials and designs. Speidel's products were sold in major department stores and jewelry retailers around the world.

Today, Speidel continues to be a leading manufacturer of watchbands and accessories, with a wide range of products available for men and women. The company remains committed to quality and innovation, and its products are known for their durability, comfort, and style.

From the mid-century, this is a rare and cool vintage Speidel 16mm center scissor expansion watch bracelet with basketweave link design. All in 10K yellow gold filled top and stainless-steel back.

This is a rare and cool vintage Speidel 15mm Twist-O-Flex expansion watch bracelet with wave pattern design. All in stainless steel.  

It is a high-quality made out-of-production flex watch bracelet made by Speidel and signed PAT. 2.689.450.  

The ends are straight (lug style), spring-loaded, and measure 15mm – Spring bars are NOT included! 

Measurements:  

Lug Size 15mm 

Band Width 15.6mm  

Band Length 6” (150mm) – Unstretched. 

The band can be stretched another couple inches.

We prefer to shoot photographs outside when the weather permits. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photographs, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust light, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.

The condition is pre-owned.

The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear but is fully operational and functions as intended.
