Brooks Brother Business Suit

Size:  Approx 40 R.  Slacks are 36 x 29.  Custom ordered with no labeled size - I measure in the approx. US 40 R range.  See detailed measurements below.

Color: Grey Prince of Wales plaid - please supersize photos.  

Style: Single breasted - 3/2 roll button, side vents, surgeons cuffs.  Slacks are single pleated, lined and cuffed.

Material:  Not listed - feels like 100% Wool 

Here is a very nice Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece business suit with a classic cut.  This suit was a custom order (MTO - made to order) and made in NYC by Martin Greenfiled tailors with a canvas construction.  There is a "custom made for client name" label in this suit.  This suit is in overall excellent condition - lightly worn with no issues.  It is made of a light to medium weight wool and can be worn year round.

As with most clothing (pre-owned or new) some minor alteration may be necessary to get a fit just right for you - please compare a suit that fits you well to the following additional details:

Jacket: Fully lined.  3/2 roll button front.  4 button sleeves - fully functional.  Notched lapels.  Side vents.  3 exterior pockets.  3 interior pockets.

18.5 inches across the shoulder (shoulder seam to shoulder seam directly across the back)

43 inches around the chest (armpit to armpit, then doubled)

40 inches around the waist (above the pockets, then doubled)

30 inch total length from base of collar to jacket hem.

24.5 inch sleeve length from shoulder seam to cuff.

Slacks: Single pleated.  Cuffed hem.  Lined to the knee.  Belt loops.  2 rear pockets - both with button. 

36 inch waist - 2 inches to let.  Front rise is 11 inches.

Inseam is 29 with 2.5 inches to let (if worn without cuffs)

1.5 inch cuffs.  Leg opening is 9.25 inches.

39 inch total length from waist to bottom of slacks.
