An especially beautiful piece of its type, this appears to have been a chair back, thus its unusual shape.  It features a very finely made petit point in the center with a courtier and courtesan in a lovely landscape.  Note the detail of the leaves and sky, etc. This center panel is framed by a larger scale needlepoint with various fruits.

The condition is excellent.
