Pentel will release nine new colors for its Energizer gel ink ballpoint pen as standard colors on October 18. In addition to the basic colors, dark colors like those of fountain pens and black ink with a hint of color will be added.

Nine colors that were particularly popular from the "Limited Black Colors Collection" are added as standard colors. This brings the total to 12 colors, including green, orange, burgundy, blue black, forest green, sepia, olive black, indigo black, and bordeaux black, in addition to the existing standard colors of black, red, and blue.

Among the new colors, a limited-quantity seven-color set of Burgundy, Blue Black, Forest Green, Sepia, Olive Black, Indigo Black, and Bordeaux Black, focusing on dark tones that can easily be used as a substitute for black, will be available. The book-type case can be used as a gift.
