After six album releases between 1993 and 1997 Vendemmian were reunited in 2008 with their comeback album 'One More Time' and now in 2011 with their brand new album 'One In A Million'.

The band established themselves as one of the leading indie wave/goth bands of the 90s and kept that spirit and energy with the new album, featuring 10 tracks full of emotional and melodic wave-rock. Based on a modern production, catchy basslines, a wave-guitar wall of sound and Mark Douglas' vocals the songs exactly represent their classic, but unique style, fans all over the world are waiting for.

'One In A Million' one again proves, that Vendemmian is still able to refresh the genre with music, that simply is capable of beeing both intoxicating and enjoyable for the listener.

Nach einigen Alben in den 90er Jahren konnten sich Vendemmian als feste Größe der englischen Wave/Gothic-Szene etablieren.

Nach ihrem sechsten Album "One Eye Open" aus dem Jahr 1997 löste sich die Band auf, und erschien erst 2008 mit dem Reunion-Album "One More Time" wieder in der aktiven Musikszene und zur Freude ihrer weltweiten Fans.
Fast drei Jahre nach dem Comeback erscheint nun neue Album "One In A Million", welches zehn klassische Wave/Gothic-Tracks enthält, die mitreissend sind wie eh und je. Die Band spielt stilsicher mit den musikalischen Elementen des Genres und besticht ebenso durch ge-konntes und vor allem auch eingängiges Songwriting, welches von Sänger Mark Douglas' prägnanter Stimme getragen wird. Vendemmian können auch 2011 noch zeitlos, und gleichzeitig modern klingen, ohne sich dabei an breitgetretene Genre-Schemata-Klischees anbiedern zu müssen.

"One In A Million" belebt einmal wieder das Genre Wave-Rock mit frischem Wind, der einfach auch Spass machen kann.
