With their second album “Balance Of Power“ the Austrian melodic power metal band “Dignity” reappears impressively. A whole five years have passed since the release of their by press and fans much-valued de-but album “Project Destiny”. Five years where the band were thwarted by technical problems during the recording of the album for nearly a year – after their guitarist left and they quickly found a replacement in the person of Phil Porter. And then, their singer quit. However, what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger.

With ex-“Artillery” frontman Søren “Nico“ Adamsen, the band around drummer Roland Navratil (ex-“Leaves Eyes“, ex-“Atrocity“, ex-“Edenbridge“) and keyboarder Frank Pitters who founded “Dignity” in 2006, found their new singer who knows how to put the additional touches to the epic melodies of “Balance Of Power” due to his expressive voice which leads to the album sounding earthier and more pulsing than the debut. Their latest output gives “Dignity” the opportunity to take their rightful place and they go about it stronger than ever before. This is also shown by the video clip “Rebel Empire”.

“Balance Of Power” includes nine songs and the “Scorpions” classic “Blackout” as a bonus track. The new “Dignity” album was produced by Frank Pitters and Roland Navratil, mastered by Jakob Grabmayr at the WildOneMusic Studios in Vienna and the artwork was designed by Anthony Devine

"Balance Of Power“ ist der Titel des zweiten Albums von „Dignity“ aus Österreich, mit dem sich die Melodic Power Metaller eindrucksvoll zurückmelden. Ganze fünf Jahre sind seit dem Release des von Presse und Fans hochgeschätzten Debütalbums „Project Destiny“ ins Land gegangen. Fünf Jahre, in denen die Band nach dem Ausstieg ihres Gitarristen – und in Person von Phil Porter schnell gefundenen Ersatz – erst durch technische Probleme im Studio fast ein Jahr lang ausgebremst wurde, um dann den Abgang ihres Sängers zu erleben. Doch was einen nicht umbringt, härtet bekanntlich ab.

In ex-„Artillery“ Frontmann Søren „Nico“ Adamsen fand die Truppe um Drummer Roland Navratil (ex-„Leaves Eyes“, ex-„Atrocity“, ex-„Edenbridge“) und Keyboarder Frank Pitters, die „Dignity“ 2006 gründeten, ihren neuen Sänger, der den epischen Melodien der Songs auf „Balance Of Power“ durch seine ausdrucks-starke Stimme einen zusätzlichen Kick verleiht, und das Album etwas erdiger und treibender klingen lässt als das Debüt. Mit ihrem aktuellen Output sind „Dignity“ endlich angekommen und gehen stärker als jemals zuvor zu Werke. Davon zeugt auch das Video zum Song „Rebel Empire“.

„Balance Of Power“ enthält neun eigene Songs und den „Scorpions“-Klassiker „Black Out“ als Bonus-Track. Produziert wurde das neue Werk von „Dignity“ von Frank Pitters und Roland Navratil, gemixt wurde es von Jakob Grabmayr in den WildOneMusic Studios in Wien und das Artwork stammt von Anthony Devine.
