In Tokyo, Japan after 30 years the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal is still alive and well. Responsible for that fact are Akira Sugiucchi (vocals) and his three combatants, which are consisting of ex-members of the cult bands SACRIFICE and RIP RIDE. Under the flag of SOLITUDE traditional Metal with progressive elements is combining with some easy going 70’s influences. For the past 15 years the band has celebrated with playful ease finest oldschool-riffing, driven by impulsive and authentic drumming, while the powerful and charismatic voice of Sugiucchi gives the music an extra portion of bite and pushes stylistic boundaries.

Beyond that SOLITUDE have proven often, that they are also capable to amaze Metal fans all over the world, like they did in 2003 at the german “Headbangers Open Air”. After their energetic performance, the Rock Hard magazine called them the “highlight of the festival”. With their latest album “Brave The Storm” the four battle-proofed musicians demonstrate, that they have forgotten nothing, by giving the fans a total heavy metal package the british-japanese way.
