A "BORROWED" PAGE FROM 17-YEAR-OLD JOHN F. KENNEDY'S 1935 CHOATE SCHOOL PHYSICS NOTEBOOK

35th President of the United States JOHN F. KENNEDY scarce and authentic 1935 Choate School Physics Lab page from his personal notebook. As a teenager, JFK attended Choate, a prestigious private boarding school in Connecticut.

THIS PAGE FROM JFK's PHYSICS LAB NOTEBOOK IS ENTIRELY IN THE HAND OF LEM BILLINGS.

A number of the pages found within Kennedy’s notebook were from close, friend Kirk LeMoyne “Lem” Billings, a prep school roommate of Kennedy at Choate. Often described as President Kennedy’s “First Friend”, Billings even repeated his senior year so that he and JFK could graduate from Choate together in 1935.

Interestingly, several of Kennedy’s own pages closely mirror the older Billings’ completed assignments. It appears Kennedy may have "borrowed" some of his classmates work.

Kirk LeMoyne "Lem" Billings was an American businessman known for his close and long-time friendship with John F. Kennedy and the Kennedy family. Billings was a prep school roommate of JFK at Choate, an usher at his wedding and a campaigner for his successful 1960 presidential bid. Joseph P. Kennedy Sr. called him "my second son”. Later, Billings served with Sargent Shriver as a trustee for the Kennedy family trusts.

We are one of eBay's leading sellers of authentic JFK autographs and memorabilia.
