Offered here is an etching by Beningo Bossi (1727-1792) an Italian printmaker after a drawing by the renowned Italian artist, Girolamo Mazzola, otherwise known as Parmigianino (1503-1540).
The etching, made in 1772, is part of a series called Raccolta di disegni originali di Fra. Mazzola detto il Parmigianino. The plate mark is 6 1/4 inches by 3 inches.
The British Museum has an example of this print in its online collection in brown ink at No. 1891,0115.11.22.
