Offered here is a detailed 1855 map of Brazil. According to the legends, the map was originally published by J. H. Colton & Co. in 1855.
In this manifestation, the map was included as a fold-out map in "Kidder & Fletcher's Brazil and the Brazilians" published by George W. Childs of Philadelphia.
The dimensions of the map/sheet when folded out are 16 1/4 inches in height by 13 1/2 inches in width.
