The print offered here is by the explorer and painter, Cornelis De Bruyn.  The image is of the tomb of the Kings in Persepolis, which was the capital of the Persian empire at one point and is now in southern Iran.

de Bruyn was quite the traveler and wrote a book called Voyages de Cornelis de Brun, published in Amsterdam in 1718.

This print is from my personal collection which I am beginning to sell off.  Unless noted otherwise in the description, the prints, art and other items that I sell are not "reproductions".  For example, offered maps are of the period.  Please check my other listings for additional items of interest.  I will combine shipping.
