CTN Teat
Closer to nature

Breast-like

Shaped like a breast because babies prefer it that way. Our Closer to Nature breast like teats allow babies to latch on easily and support the transition between breast and bottle. Made of soft silicone, they feel closer to skin for complete comfort at feeding time.

Natural latch

Our award—winning**, easy latch-on teat has been designed with breastfeeding experts to mimic the natural flex, stretch and movement of a mum’s breast. 95%* of mums reported that their baby accepted our teat and would recommend to others.

Anti-colic

The Closer to Nature teat with anti-colic valve reduces excessive air flow, so little ones ingest more milk and less air, preventing symptoms of colic.

Easy to clean & BPA-free

Silicone is taste-free and won’t retain any stains or odours. Easy to clean either in a steriliser, by hand or in the top rack of the dishwasher. Always BPA and phthalate-free for your ultimate reassurance.

Go with the flow

We offer different flow rates to keep up with your growing baby. Every baby is different but as a guide we suggest slow flow and vari flow for 0+months, medium flow for 3+ months and fast flow for 6+ months.

Moving on

If the bottle teat collapses during feeding, it takes longer than 20 minutes for baby to finish a bottle, or if baby tugs at the teat or baby falls asleep mid-bottle, these are potential signs you may need to increase the teat flow rate.

Change me

Our teats are silky soft. Change them if they get damaged or bitten by tiny teeth. Closer to Nature teats are only compatible with Closer to Nature bottles.

Squeeze me

When assembling your baby bottle, hold the teat up to the light to check the slit in the silicone isn’t sealed closed. If it has, pinch it gently between your fingers or with teat tongs to re-open. If the valve has sealed closed, your bottle won’t vent properly.
