Discontinued Vintage Gay Ken Doll “Earring Magic Ken”

Earring Magic Ken was only available for a short time in 1993, and was recalled shortly due to just about EVERYONE noticing how queer-coded it was. Consequently, it became the best selling Ken doll in Mattel’s history, and is considered by collectors to be a historically significant doll.

Earring Magic Ken is wearing a mesh lavender shirt and matching pleather vest.

Ken has purple leatherette Vest, lavender mesh shirt and denim pants (with contrast stitching that matches his vest), and black shoes. Ken accessorizes his gay icon outfit with a left-ear earring, and super sexual silver-tone necklace ring on his vest. Let’s not let his beautiful highlighted hair escape our attention!

Also comes with Clip on Ken / Barbie earrings for a child.

This Ken is one chiseled hunk of plastic.
