TROPICAL TREAT FROM TRINIDAD!
BRITISH MILITARY SHORT SNORTER!!

This antique blue and gold banknote will unclutter your mind and transport you to the beautiful Caribbean Sea circa 1939 with finely engraved views of Trinidad and Tobago. At the time, Trinidad was a British Colony which will be relevant shortly.

The note remains quite crisp with solid paper and vivid color but has picked up a bit of toning along the way from then until now. Along with some additional interesting history....

It bears the fountain pen signatures of a Major ? and a Lieutenant Peartree in His Majesty's Royal Naval Serice! Perhaps the toning came from the note sitting on the bar top?
