Here's a ONE-OF-A-KIND extremely rare Foreign Bill signed by Commander & Admiral John Rodgers of the US Navy along with numerous other signatures.  Rear Admiral Rodgers commanded the Asiatic Fleet of 5 squadron vessels, one of which was the USS Colorado and is notated as such on the front of this Bill.

This document is hand dated April 21st, 1871 in the upper right hand corner and is for the incredible amount of "Six Thousand Pounds Sterling" and is numbered No. 13.

SUPER COOL FACTOR =  This Bill is stamped "Accepted 10 June 1871" on the front.  That's so important and cool because that's the exact day John Rodgers' expedition force attacked multiple forts and won a great military victory in Korea.  Details of this can be seen on my wiki screenshot (last image of this listing).

Not only is this probably the coolest Navy Foreign Bill ever created ("Six Thousand pounds of Sterling"), the STAMP ON THE FRONT SIDE IS EXTREMELY RARE!!!  So rare in fact, I cannot find another example of it in existence.

This document has incredible historical significance due to the timing (April 1871) of John Rodgers' expeditions.  See the attached images for some history on John Rodgers and also his Korean expedition.

This document never gets old to look at with all the history and cool factor associated with it.

I'm happy to provide additional pictures and answer any questions you may have.
