A simply gorgeous long, sheer skirt with three gathered tiers of ruffles at the bottom and along the vertical sides of the opening that could be worn with the vertical lace edging in the back, front or either side.   We have tried to give an idea of each of those looks in the photographs.  It seems intended to be worn over another garment or lining, not included here.  There is a small 1/2 inch waist band that closes with the hook and eye closures and two seams on either side of the front.  This antique piece was completely handmade.  It fits our size 8 mannequin as you can see from the detailed photographs.  We have provided measurements below for you to verify the fit.

The condition is excellent, especially for its age.  Hand laundered and pressed.  We note an opening in the lace in the front waist area (see photo) where the lace is in two layers.  There are a few areas with tiny openings in the lace but it is overall strong and stable.

Measurements:

Waist:  24"
Length:  43"
Around at the bottom of the full skirt:  138"
