“News Parade” (1943) 8mm Film, WWII, U-boats, Prisoners, Argentina Revolt, FDR

This Castle film captures WWII highlights with sinking u-boats and pushing back the enemy as well as the revolt in Argentina and capsized luxury liner Normandie.

FILM CONDITION:

Film appears to be in good condition, ran smoothly and has no detectable vinegar syndrome. I noticed a couple splices when cleaning the film but didn’t notice it on the run.

Film was stored in a case with a film with vinegar syndrome and the box has a faint odor, but an A-D strip did not indicate VS on film.
