1998 Amada/Wildstorm Resident Evil Monster Card #G-4 - PSA 9

POP 1, first graded copy!

CAPCOM had a smash hit on their hands with Resident Evil, and since so many WildStorm staff members were also gamers, it's no surprise that they ended up with the license to produce the comic magazine and trading cards.

This trading card set was a joint collaboration between WildStorm and JPP/Amada. WildStorm's connection with chromium printing was put to good use, making the graphics and artwork of Resident Evil 2 really shine! Like the game, the card set is divided into two stories, Leon and Claire, making the numbering of the set confusing at first glace.

The chase card sets, holochrome and lenticular motion cards, use artwork that can be found in other CAPCOM licensed product, included the Japanese trading card set All CAPCOM World '98. An exciting incentive added to the set was the inclusion of a Jim Lee autograph insert card, featuring artwork from the cover of WildStorm's Resident Evil comic book magazine.
