Released in 1998 and cancelled during production due to the cost and weight of shipping acetate cards globally, the Konami Metal Gear Solid set has become an extremely sought-after collectible for both fans of the franchise and trading card enthusiasts alike. Each card was serial numbered and printed on premium acetate stock with parallels of varying rarity available for each card in the set, which was a relatively new practice for it's time among sports cards, let alone non-sports cards.

Even after 25 years since it's release there are only 3 graded examples in PSA's registry, with this being the only graded Red Jackal parallel at the time of listing. Given the age and acetate stock of this set, the odds of a high grade are exceptionally low, making this a very significant piece of Metal Gear solid ephemera!
