The books are all beautifully cloth bound with gold gilt edged pages. The box is also cloth bound with gold accents. The books each have their own inbuilt ribbon bookmark

The books in this set haven't been read or opened all the way (no spine cracked). There are no inscriptions, rips, tears or stains aside from a dark line across deathly hallows, from where the ribbon has been against it (you can't see it when it is in the box with the ribbon done up )(see photo)

The only sign of any damage is a crinkle in the corner of the box (was like this when it arrived to me)(see photos).
