Great Ball Hamilton Railrpad Grade 999D with chain. Serial number 42314 of this quite rare model, only 365 produced, this is from the last in 1898. 18 Size 17 jewel adjusted for 5 positions and temperature. Beautiful nickel movement with sunburst inside a circle pattern and gold letters. Keystone/Jas Boss gold filled Ball Model case. Very rare Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen marked dial and movement. Unmarked gold filled watch fob about 5 inches long. This is the last of my Ball collection only some books and spare parts coming. As always no reserve, hope it goes to a good home.

The photo with the crystal off seems to show a hairline in the seconds area but when the cover came off an eyelash fell onto the dial. Refer to photo with crystal on-there is no eyelash or hairline.
