Authentic Vintage 1870s - 1900 Black Wool Mens Frock Coat ....AS IS
This authentic vintage men's frock coat is a rare find from the 1870s. Possible worn into the early 1900s. Made from 100% black wool gabardine and black silk lining, the design is a testament to the quality of craftsmanship from that era. Has a series of 5 fabric covered button and button holes as a faux vest look. Its military/landgirl style exudes a sense of timeless elegance and sophistication. This coat/jacket is a unique addition to any vintage clothing collection and to those who enjoy the study of construction of early men's clothing. Please note the back pleated details. AS IS condition.
