A signed, limited edition print by listed artist Norah Howarth, a well known 20th century artist who specialised in animal studies.

This is a depiction of a British Saddleback sow, ( a traditional British breed), sitting on a bed of straw surrounded by her 7 little piglets.

It is signed in the plate lower centre and is hand signed in pencil in the lower right margin.  Numbered 212 of a limited edition of 500 signed prints.  Published by the Heale Gallery of Curry Rivel in Somerset in 1987.

In excellent condition and well presented with a complementary coloured double card mount within a grey painted wood frame with inner gilt trim.  The mount is in excellent condition, the frame is in good vintage condition, some small signs of age but nothing significant.

Glazed and ready to hang.  Please excuse any reflection/flash in the photographs which have been taken through the glass.

Measures 46 x 52cm including the frame, the image only is 26 x 33cm.
