Item was working when removed from service (company closed) I don't know how to test it so I am selling it as is.powers up and orange lights come on fans are turning .may have scratches or cosmetic defects- looks pretty good though.one rubber foot is missing on the bottom as pictured. I have used hard drives that were in it listed separately.uts
