This vacuum pump is a brand new OE replacement part for a Ford Focus or many other Ford Vehicles fitted with the 1.0 Ecoboost Engine manufactleedsured from 2012 to 2018. As used by us when installing Brand New Ford or Reconditioned Engines in our Workshops near Leeds.

The 1.0 Ecoboost engine has many problems centred around the wet belt system, the wet belt can shed rubber. This shed rubber will find a home inside the engine somehwere and one of the most common places to find it is inside the oil feed strainer that allows oil to circulate around this vacuum pump. If this rubber blocks the strainer the vacuum pump will seize, lock the exhaust cam and kill the motor.

So dont under estimate this little device, its critical !!!
