A rare and delightful colorful graphic art filled book for little hands and growing minds in nice and clean collector-owned condition.

The book is clean with sturdy pastel to brightly colored cloth covers and pages suggesting this item has probably never been laundered. The pinked (zig-zag cut) edges are lightly frayed and the pages unwrinkled suggesting light use.

The book has 6 pages with colorful illustrations on each page, with no text, perfect to create imaginative stories, increase babies’ vocabulary and color recognition, and begin a lifelong love of reading.

Illustrations are in a mixed color scheme of spring grass green, white, shades of yellows, tan, brown, red and a medium bright blue; along with black outlining.

Illustrations include a lamb, ducklings, piglets, calves, chicks and a baby donkey.

This little cloth rag book is cleverly designed with double sided sturdy cloth pages allowing for print on only one side of the fabric. The book has a stitched binding, and pinked top of page and bottom of page edges. With beautiful brightly colored illustrations on what appears to be 100% cotton fabric this book is a lovely example of mid to late 20th century early childhood nursery picture books. The book is ready to use as designed, collect, or repurpose into something wonderfully creative!

Although I find this book perfectly wonderful, in super close examination, you might disagree so please look at all photos and zoom in as necessary. You might see faint discoloration from gentle handling, age or production, that if I did not point out in the photos, I did not see or I thought way too insignificant to mention. This book has been well cared for by an adult collector and I would consider it near mint other than the typical issue with the pinked edges to some degree losing their points, but please zoom in and make your own decision prior to purchasing.
