This whistleis really nice looking with the combination of copper and brass. the sound is pure and sweet with just a tiny hint of chiff. it is on the heavier side for whistles since it is all solid brass and copper. but I don’t think it is heavy enough for the weight to bother anyone. the parts are soldered together for a very strong and durable instrument. being solid metal, the whistle will need a little warming up sometimes and the windway is pretty narrow so if the whistle is cold some moisture will build up, but it should not be much of an issue once it is warmed up by playing for a few mins.

My copper and brass whistles are finished with “Protect-a-clear” coating for a durable non-toxic finish to protect the polish of the metal and put a barrier between the metals and your mouth.

This whistle has been individually hand tuned to concert pitch A440 at 68•F
