A sterling silver frame with handle and cobalt glass insert and a matching sauce ladle in a form I believe is known as a mayonnaise serve. Certainly for a cold sauce or condiment, not something hot (the glass would break). In great condition, the handles closely resemble the Onslow pattern made by Tuttle (now a part of Wallace) starting in the early 1930's but this piece is marked by Redlich & Company, also with the stamp STERLING and 3077. Ladle is stamped STERLING on the handle. Height 2 3/4", diameter 3 7/8" (4 3/4" with handle). Ladle is 4 1/4" long. Silver weight is 124 grams.
