An entire Tahitian Dance Costume. This is a vintage costume. I have had it for at least 15 years, and it was vintage when I bought it. Beautiful Grass skirt with Hot Pink tassels and is decorated with Cowry shells. Costume comes with Skirt, Head Piece, Coconut Bra and "il'l il'i which are the tassel pom poms. 

MEASUREMENTS:

Waist of Skirt: 34 but looks like you could let it out a few inches. See pictures.

Length of skirt: about 33"

Coconut bra: about 5 1/4" across and 1 1/2" deep. Ties with braded grass so size is what ever you want.

Length of il'i il'i: About 12"

Head Piece Around: 21" around at the 3" headband. Has some padding to make it snug but can be removed if you don't need it.

Head piece height: About 15" from top of headpiece to end of tassels.

By the look of the headpiece, I would say this is a Bora Bora Island costume. This costume could be used for Halloween or Cosplay as well as for dancing.  Condition of costume is vintage. Some grass sheds. The grass skirt portion could be replaced at Aloha Hula supply for about $63.00.  The expensive part of this costume is the two types of Cowry shells as they cost $.60 to $.80 each! The skirt alone on Aloha Hula Supply is $290.00, but of course that one is new.

I found one of the very small tassels from the skirt but couldn't find where it came from so, I just put it in a plastic bag and included it in the box.
