An entire Tahitian Dance Costume. This is a vintage costume. I have had it for at least 15 years, and it was vintage when I bought it. Beautiful Grass skirt with Red tassels and is decorated with Cowry shells, beads and Poinsettia Flowers. Costume comes with Skirt, Head Piece, Bra and "il'i il'i" which are the tassel pom poms. 

MEASUREMENTS:

Waist of Skirt: 31"

Length of skirt: about 32"

Bra: about 32 to 37 around (has elastic in the back.) 3 1/2" deep. 19 1/2" around neck.

Length of il'i il'i: About 14"

Head Piece Around: 21" around at the headband. 

Head piece height: About 19" from top of headpiece to end of tassels.

Tassels are 10" - 9" - 7" long.

By the look of the headpiece, I would say this is a Bora Bora Island costume. This costume could be used for Halloween or Cosplay as well as for dancing.  Condition of costume is vintage. Some grass sheds. The Cowry shells cost $.60 to $.80 each! The skirt alone on Aloha Hula Supply is $290.00, but of course that one is new.
