What are "heroclix"?  It is a collectible miniatures game featuring super-heroes from Marvel, DC and Indy comics, or licenced from movies, video games, and more.  The figures average 1 1/2" tall and stand on a base with a dial that contains all of the statistics for that character.  Think chess, but with a lot more options for pieces, played on a map with terrain and other tokens.  Older sets did not have character cards.  Beginning with the Avengers set, a character card was added to the game for each figure.  For these sets, the cards are always included in auctions unless specified at the top of the description.  Please note also that gravity feed and counter top display figures come in small packages so the cards often have bends or some creasing.

SHIPPING/HANDLING   

  • Items may be shipped via USPS, UPS, or Fed Ex unless specific arrangements are requested, but we almost always use USPS.
  • All items are in new or like new condition unless specific condition is noted in the description.
  • The condition of all items is always guaranteed. 
  • We reserve the right to self-insure packages. With our "any reason" guarantee, self-insured packages save money, and damaged or lost packages are replaced or refunded just as fast and with less paperwork than through postal service insurance.
  • We always combine shipping costs for multiple purchases.  Please wait for a combined invoice, because the automated invoices do not include all options or specials, and also do not always combine shipping automatically.  If you have any questions please ask before making payment. 
  • I ship all orders in the order that payments are received.
  • INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
  • Many buyers have asked, but we cannot mark customs forms as "gift." We are also required by law to mark the exact purchase price on customs forms. Some sellers mark this value higher thinking it is insurance, thereby costing buyers extra excise taxes. We enter only the bid value, not including shipping.   Buyers are responsible for all customs and import fees.
  • The condition of all items is always guaranteed.

  • If you do not want to use paypal for an international payment you must contact us first.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:  Refunds or replacements will be fulfilled after 45 days from the shipping date.  I'm sorry this is so long, but international shipping can vary a lot, packages regularly arrive after the 30 day point, and it is very costly to re-send replacements of refund orders.

  • If you need or want to return your order for any reason I will refund your purchase price minus shipping.  If the return is due to a Woolverine Games error we will refund your full purchase price and ALSO refund the return postage! 
  • REQUIRED: You must contact me within 7 days of receiving your shipment and BEFORE you return any item.  Please include the reason for your return (any reason accepted - we just want to know).  You will receive a reply with return shipping instructions.
  • Items must be returned in the condition received to receive the full refund. 
  • Miscellaneous lots are not returnable.
