This lovely Swarovski Crystal 23k yellow gold plated crystal long stem rose bud brooch, circa 1990s. It excellent vintage condition. It measures approximately 3.25” long by 1.25 wide. It new without  is ready to wear or gift wrap. See photos for full description. According to my online research from multiple sources Swarovski Jewelry is 23k gold plate over brass or white metal alloy. Crystals are patented manufacture leaded glass which is said to contain <.009 lead so it is said to be as safe to wear as nonleaded crystal jewelry. The lead content together with their secret manufacturing process, laser cutting and polishing stones gives Swarovski a higher refraction, aka more sparkle that regular crystal. Its patented process is said to produce a sparkle closer to diamonds that other crystal or faux diamond jewelry currently available.  It is nickel free, hypoallergenic and meets EU standards. Info. from google searches, and websites: Quora, Q & A, Swarovski, and Roma Jewelry’s web sites among others. eBay won’t let sellers include links to websites.
