This is a rare find for any coin collector out there. A 1880-cc $10 Gold Eagle graded by NGC with a grade of AU 53. This coin has a super low mintage of only 11,190. It was struck in the Carson City mint and is considered a business strike type. This coin is circulated and has a denomination of $10. It is composed of gold and was manufactured before 1933 in the United States. This is a must-have for any serious coin collector and is a great addition to any collection.

Comparing this AU-53 to some other $10 PCGS Au53 coins I have I just don't get why this is not Au55.  That is my honest opinion and I would never deliberately mislead someone.  The shield on the reverse is almost untouched.  I just don’t get Pcgs’s made up price with there is almost no difference between this coin and a AU 58 valued at $25,000. Which is why I am asking more than their price guide. These Carson city coins are shooting up in value every few years.

Checking the internet, Heritage, Ebay,  etc. and I see no other sales for this coin other than MS 60 for $39,000 and MS 61 for $92,000.

Please know I do not offer returns on graded coins.

Shipping: For United States buyers the shipping is Free. No international buyers. You can ask, presently under review.

Also extremely important: This item will be shipped USPS registered and insured to the full amount. This is the safest and most reliable mail available that I know of. It is however, not a fast method of mailing as it is kept in locked cages the entire trip and has to be signed for at each location along the way.

Please know I am researching other faster options and open to agreed alternatives.
