Clone power pack tap that slides into the back of the Nintendo Virtual Boy controller, and even click-locks into place with a retainer clip. I designed this piece myself and it is FDM printed with ABS plastic for thermal durability and excellent electrical insulating properties. With this pack you can use a variety of power supplies so long as you follow the general specs below:

9 to 10 volts, 1 or more amps, plug tip is 2.1mm x 5.5mm, any polarity. DC or AC.

Example power supplies you can use with this clone tap:

Sega Genesis Model 1 / Sega Master System MK-1602
Turbografx-16 HES-ACA-01
Japanese Super Famicom / Regular Famicom HVC-002
Nintendo NES AC Adapter NES-002
Triad Magnetics part # WSU090-1300-R

I know that some people can be cavalier about what they plug into a socket so long as it 'fits,' so I have wired in a bridge rectifier to protect your Virtual Boy against reverse polarity and even AC power supplies. This won't protect against overvoltage however, so be sure that the supply you use is still 9 to 10 volts at the most.

This is not something I plan on selling many of, and am only supplying a short run to recover my time designing and assembling a tap for my own personal use, so if you'd like a cheaper alternative to the official tap, here's your chance. Customer provides their own power supply. Controller is not included and only shown as demonstration of use.
