This could use a cleaning if you want the dress to be in perfect condition. I'm selling as is. This appears to be a gown that was
custom re-created into a gown for a special event. It is loud and over the top, with layers of blues and a huge pin added at the hip.
Someone put a lot of work into this custom creation!
A Blue-Ribbon Ball event would be perfect for this. Some sort of over-the-top masquerade event.
I will attempt to describe this dress:
There is a lace stand collar bolero jacket, that is separate, sold with the dress.
The dress itself is a strapless formal dress, by Amsale, size 10. Sold at Riziks in Washington. See labels.
There is boning for form, and there are tucks and layers at the hipline. It is fully lined and rather heavy. Added the ribbon at the waist just to hold the dress onto the mannequin. There is so much weight to the bottom half of the dress that I recommend that a larger size person, not a skinny 10, wear this. You need some bust/chest width to hold this up!. There is a back zipper, and lots of seams.
Someone added extra to this dress. There is an all around gathered deep ruffle of light blue tulle.
There is a dark royal satin insert stitched into the right front leg. There is also a lining inside with a tulle hemline.
At the top of this slit at the leg and fabric insert is a lace scarf and an added pin with faux turquoise and other stones on it.
Measurements are:
Bust 36 + (would say you could be more, probably as much as 40" squeezed into this).
Waist 32"
Back width on the jacket is 15"
