The Pa1000 is equipped with DNC (Defined Nuance Control), an articulation technology that realistically reproduces the various tones that change depending on the playing method, enabling performance that exceeds that of the previous Pa series. Furthermore, a huge variety of backing pattern "styles" are available, covering music genres from all over the world. These powerful features, combined with an intuitive user interface and high-quality sound, create an ``arranger workstation'' that will satisfy even the most demanding professional players.

Designed for musicians of all levels, the great-feeling 61-key semi-weighted keyboard provides natural key on/off velocity sensitivity and aftertouch.
Slim, powerful and easy to operate
Pa1000 is designed with a concept that combines a slim profile with a professional look. Two 33-watt amplifiers drive four bass reflex enclosure speakers for a rich and powerful listening experience. The main panel has all controls ergonomically placed and optimized for smooth, natural, and intuitive operation of any performance. The large, bright, easy-to-read TouchView display handles rapidly changing lighting conditions and features a newly designed graphical interface. You can then tilt the entire screen forward or backward to set the angle that is most comfortable for the player.

The Pa1000 features over 1,750 high-quality sounds using Korg's advanced EDS-X (Enhanced Definition Synthesis-eXpanded) sound engine. This ready-to-use sound collection includes a vast array of keyboard sounds that have been called classics from all over the world, band and orchestra instruments, electronic sounds such as techno, and acoustic instruments used in folk music, as well as dampers and piano bodies.
