Compact design with a streamlined key layout
Inherits the basic concept of HHKB, which is the rational key layout and compact size. It also inherits the cylindrical step sculpture structure, allowing speedy typing without the need to move your hands from the home position.
In addition to inheriting the hybrid multi-pairing function using Bluetooth and USB Type-C, it is now easier to check the pairing status with the LED.

Adopts HHKB original linear type silent mechanical switch (pressing pressure 45g)
The ultimate smoothness, where you won't even feel you're pressing the keys, and the dynamic feeling of your fingers moving smoothly, will help you output your creative thoughts.
Adopts hot swap method. It is compatible with regular profile MX style 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches (manufactured by Cherry, Gateron, and Kailh), allowing users to change to their own preferred key switch.
Key layout customization function
The keymap change tool has four expanded functions in addition to the conventional keymap change function.
(1) Pointing stick and gesture pad settings/changes
(2) Customized profiles can be saved on the main unit (up to 4)
(3) Equipped with a function that allows you to assign shortcuts to one key by pressing multiple keys at the same time.
(4) Expanded the layers of combination input using function keys, allowing 4 layers to be set: "Standard", "Fn1", "Fn2", and "Fn3"

(*2) Precautions regarding key switch replacement
It is the customer's responsibility to replace the key switch. The key switch may be damaged during replacement. Please replace with care.
It cannot be replaced with keyswitches from HHKB products (Professional series) other than HHKB Studio.
When replacing with a commercially available product, please carefully check that it is compatible with HHKB Studio beforehand. The keyswitch is compatible with regular profile MX style 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches from Cherry, Gateron, and Kailh.
When replacing the key switch (G/B/H keys) around the pointing stick with a commercially available product, please carefully check the shape of the switch beforehand, as the protruding part of the switch may interfere with the pointing stick.
