Fitment:
Works on Detroit Diesel 60 Series 12.7L, 14L engines and MTU S2000 engines. This tool fits liners with bores ranging from 5.0 inches to 5.75 inches.
 
 
Features:
1) Similar to Kent-Moore J-45876. Replace for OTC 5875.
 
2) Simply insert the tool into the cylinder and then as the expander nut is tightened, the metal cylinder body expands out to ensure a secure hold on the liner. As the bridge nut is tightened, the liner is released from the engine block. Use the convenient handle to lift the liner from the engine block and transport it to a work station or storage location.

3) Top quality sturdy carbon steel, anti corrosion and impact resistant, repeatedly tested to ensure excellent performance and lasting service time.
 

Installation Guide:

Step 1. Clean and wipe out the inside of the cylinder liner of any oil or coolant.

Step 2. Install the J-45876 cylinder liner removal tool in the cylinder liner to be removed with bridge resting on deck of cylinder block and lip of tool resting on the top of the cylinder liner.

Step 3. Tighten the lower nut to expand the tool in the cylinder liner.

Step 4. Tighten the upper nut on the tool until the cylinder liner is pulled from the cylinder block. Remove the cylinder liner and tool.

Step 5. Remove the tool from the liner.
