My universal servo recoil unit slides smoothly back and forth with no sanding required thanks to the specially designed barrel shuttle inside and the smooth 3d resin material.  My Universal unit fits most tanks of the 1/16 manufactures to adapt the main gun barrel to recoil.  It works with both the side mounted elevation motor and the turret roof mounted elevation motor unit.

Some modifications are usually required to the tanks gun mount after the airsoft gun is removed to make the gun barrel slide in and out of the mantlet  smoothly before the recoil unit can be installed and connected to the main gun barrel.
