“King Of Norway” (1970) Super 8mm Film Home Movie, Parades, Floats Dancing, King

Film captures several Sons of Norway parades from 1968, 1969 and 1970 with a party in the middle (party footage is quit dark) and ending with the king of Norway making a speech in 1970. I believe it’s Olav V.

FILM CONDITION:

Film appears to be in good condition, ran smoothly and has no detectable vinegar syndrome. There is some streaking on portions.

Rough timeline:

3 min - parade

3 min - party with dancing and men dressed as women (section is dark and streaky)

3 min 45 sec - parade

30 sec - speech set up at a capitol building

45 sec - dance performance

1 min - king speech event
