Early American 1930’s Art Deco slip shade chandelier. Gorgeous/timeless glasswork, unmistakably by the famous Consolidated Glass Co. Outstanding antique condition. No cracks of any kind to the “Consolidated Art Glass”. The chandelier frame is in very good condition. Some frame refinishing in the original copper/bronze color. Display value is very good to excellent. Gorgeous, original patina is present. The 5 sockets are new, replaced. The electrical feed line has been replaced with new, period correct cloth covered wire. The hand wrought, hand made glass, is in remarkable condition. Some, normal signs of use, some roughness to the fitter edges. again, remarkable glass condition. So often the glass will vary in color, not the case here. 5 beautifully matched slip shades. Currently we have several pieces available by the extraordinary glass maker, Consolidated. Chandler has a ceiling drop of approximately 24”. This can be reduced by a few inches by removing chain link. If more is needed, I can provide additional chain, similar to the original chain. The chandelier measures approximately 18” at it’s widest point.
